Las Vegas Raiders defensive star, Maxx Crosby has called himself a super fan of THE Ohio State University Buckeyes football program.
Crosby is hopeful that the Buckeyes can get rid of head coach Ryan Day after this season, especially after his fourth loss to rival Michigan. Seemingly, the planting of the Michigan flag at mid-field caused a whole of lot of commotion and disrespect.
On “The Rush”, a podcast Maxx Crosby hosts with Brogan Roback & Darien Terrell, Maxx Crosby expressed his disgust for the Ohio State Football program situation. He detailed how he grew up in Michigan and played at Eastern Michigan but always liked and rooted for the Buckeyes.
After the Buckeyes 13-10 loss, he said that he would no longer continue to root for them to win the national championship.
He also said, “They’re cooked. I hope they fail. I want them to lose so Day gets fired, sorry.”
If you were to ask Crosby who he wanted to head the Buckeyes football program, his pick would be former Florida Gators head coach Urban Meyer. Crosby said, “Bring Urban back – I’m not watching a game again until Urban Meyer is the head coach of the team. I refuse.”
If you remember, Meyer was the Buckeyes’ coach from 2012-2018. During his time there, he beat Michigan every season and even won a national championship in 2014.
No disrespect to Coach Day on a personal level according to Crosby, Who says,“is a good guy.”
With the College Football Playoff approaching, it will be fascinating to see if the Buckeyes will move to oust Ryan Day if they don’t make it to the national championship game this year.
