Jake Paul cruises to an easy victory over Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in an eight-round heavyweight match at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday. All three judges scored the fight for Paul, 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73. Paul was in complete control of the fight.

Outside of the first two rounds, Paul was in complete control of the fight. He was constantly landing his jap effectively on Tyson and as the fight went on, it was apparent that Tyson was wearing down. As the hype wore off, reality started to set in as the younger fighter started to assert his dominance in the ring. Fans became frustrated and you could hear boos in the stadium. The fans wanted more action but both fighters were cautious with each other and were trying to avoid getting hurt.

Streaming issues

Throughout the whole boxing card, Netflix was experiencing a lot of buffering. Fans grew frustrated as dealing with the uncertainty. Leading up to the main event card, Netflix was experiencing a lot of buffering issues and fans started to panic. As both fighters were making their ring entrance, the platform started buffering. Fortunately, once both fighters were in the ring, Netflix had no more issues moving forward. But fans took to social media to complain about the service provider.

The fight did not live up to the hype but everyone tuned in to see if the old man could school the youngster. That didn’t happen and Jake Paul found another way to finesse everyone while getting everyone paid in the process.  Paul is expected to make at least $40 million guaranteed while Tyson is expected to make at least $20 million guaranteed. Looks like Tyson got a generous retirement package. When Tyson was asked if he’ll retire during the post-fight interview, he replied.

“I don’t think so,” Tyson replied to Ariel Helwani in the ring when asked if this would be his final fight. “It depends on the situation.”

“I don’t think so, I don’t know, maybe I’ll fight his brother [Logan Paul].”

Logan Paul then appeared shocked at the challenge, simply replying: “I’d kill you Mike.”
