Former Raider standout joins Donald Trump’s campaign

Presidential candidate Donald Trump received an endorsement from an unexpected source, former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers Le’Veon Bell endorsed the former president Saturday, even showing up and speaking at Trump’s rally.

According to reports, Brown said this Saturday:

“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, did you really know they want to put tampons in the boys’ bathroom?” Brown asked the crowd. “That’s really insane, right?”

Brown has been a controversial figure, who was only a Raider for 181 days and never played a down for the team. He has used social media to blast the likes of ex-teammate and Raiders owner Tom Brady, Taylor Swift, and WNBA star Caitlin Clark.

Trump, who is campaigning in Pennsylvania, was expected to be at Sunday night’s Steelers game vs. the New York Jets.

A few weeks ago, Trump was spotted in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama/Georgia game. Georgia, like Pennsylvania, is a swing state that Trump desperately needs to win this election. According to recent polls, both states are close.

Trump received a warm reception in Alabama a few weeks ago, no word, however, on how he was received in Pittsburgh Sunday night. Trump is known not to stay through most of the games he attends.
