Davante Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup against the Browns, Head Coach Antonio Pierce confirmed.
This will be the first time Adams has missed a game since Week 8 of the 2021 season with the Green Bay Packers. If Adams condition doesn’t improve, he could be placed on IR soon.

“Collectively, nobody needs to be Davante Adams,” Pierce said of what he expects from the receiving corps. “I don’t need another Davante. There’s only one, right? I just need the best version of Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner and the rest of those receivers.”
Additionally, Divine Deablo (oblique) and Decamerion Richardson (hamstring) won’t suit up, while TE Michael Mayer will miss the game due to personal reasons.
Maxx Crosby (ankle) and Thayer Munford (knee/ankle) are listed as doubtful to play, though Pierce said Friday morning that both would be out vs. Browns. Crosby could very well be back soon depending on how his ankle is progressing.
A lot will be expected from rookie tight end Brock Bowers. Who will be expected to carry the load for Meyers. The Raiders will desperately need someone to step up and give starting quarterback Gardner Minshew some weapons.
