A’ja Wilson has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of June 27th to July 7th. This is the 9th time Wilson has earned this honor which moves her into 7th place for most career Player of the Week awards. A’ja has been selected as Western Conference Player of the Week three times this season, in addition to being named Western Conference Player of the Month in June and May.

Wilson led the league averaging 25.2 points, 3.2 blocks per game, 9.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.7 steals. She helped the Aces to a 5-1 record by shooting 53.1% from the field, 36.4% from three, and 84.4% from the line.Wilson will be back in action on Wednesday, when the Aces face the Storm at noon on their three-game road trip to Seattle.
