Aces Storm
Both teams are on a roll, with the Storm winning seven of their last 10 games and the Aces are 8-1 since Chelsea Gray returned, winning eight of their last ten.The Storm are also a dominant home team, with a 9-2 record, making Climate Pledge Arena a difficult place to play.
This will be the first time these two teams have met in Seattle, having previously played in Vegas. The Storm won the first game, 78-65, while the Aces won the second, 94-83.
Chelsea Gray made her season debut in their most recent match, scoring one point, seven assists, and four rebounds, but her effect goes beyond the numbers. Since her comeback, the Aces have improved and are currently fourth in the WNBA, one game behind Seattle, making this game crucial.
Kelsey Plum, a player to watch for the Aces, has been on a tear since her game against the Mystics, when she ended with just two points. Plum has averaged 26.5 points per game in the last four games, shooting 56% from the field and 52.9 from three-point range.

Jackie Young’s defense has proven vital for the Aces, since she guards the other team’s top guard. In the previous game against the Storm, Young limited Loyd to one point on 0-9 shooting from the field and 0-3 from three.
Nneka Ogwumike has been an excellent addition to the Storm, averaging 17.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Ogwumike led the Storm to a win against the Chicago Sky in their most recent game, scoring 24 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
