In his first fight in the octagon since August 2022, Jose Aldo looked very impressive. The 37 year old dominated Jonathan Martinez in a convincing win in front of his home crowd in Rio De Janeiro.

The King of Rio was briefly retired for 18 months and have a short but successful boxing stint. He made it clear that this will not be his last fight. “I said that this wasn’t going to be my last fight, I think I’m in the physique I still have the age that I can still fight, you can still that I can still go forward, so maybe we can come back in here and become the champion.” Aldo stated in his Octagon interview.

“I have to thank Jonathan  for this opportunity and now my next step is sitting with Dana, Sean, and Hunter  and we’ll see how it goes.

The UFC Hall of Famer has aspirations for making another title run at bantamweight. After tonight’s performance, he looks like he can compete with any top fighter in the division.
