Even on Father’s Day, NFL front offices never truly take a day off. The Las Vegas Raiders continued their offseason business on Sunday by announcing the signing of third-round draft pick Keyron Crawford to a four-year rookie contract.
Crawford, selected with the No. 67 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, becomes the latest member of the Raiders’ rookie class to officially join the organization as preparations continue for training camp.
Crawford Brings Versatility to Raiders Defensive Front
The defensive end arrives in Las Vegas after an impressive collegiate career that began at Arkansas State before finishing at Auburn.
During his lone season with the Tigers in 2025, Crawford started all 12 games and emerged as one of Auburn’s most productive defensive players.
He finished the season with:
- 36 total tackles
- 9.5 tackles for loss
- 5.0 sacks
- One forced fumble
- One fumble recovery
- One interception
His combination of size, athleticism, and versatility made him an attractive option for a Raiders defense looking to improve its pass rush and overall depth along the defensive line.
Competition Along the Defensive Front
Crawford enters a Raiders defensive unit that underwent significant changes during the offseason.
Under new head coach Klint Kubiak and the revamped coaching staff, Las Vegas has emphasized competition across the roster, and Crawford will have an opportunity to earn snaps immediately.
His ability to play multiple roles along the defensive front could make him a valuable rotational piece as the Raiders continue building a younger and more versatile defense.
Rookie Class Nearly Complete
With Crawford now under contract, the Raiders have signed eight of their ten draft selections from the 2026 class.
Only two rookies remain unsigned:
- No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza
- Fourth-round cornerback Jermod McCoy
Mendoza’s contract situation is expected to be finalized before training camp, as the franchise quarterback continues working through offseason programs while preparing for his first NFL season.
McCoy also remains expected to reach an agreement in the coming weeks.
