10 days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick as this daily countdown continues through the franchise’s best players by jersey number.

Today, April 13, 2026, the number is 10.

Chris Bahr, No. 10

Chris Bahr “Much-maligned” is the pick at No. 10 because he handled kicking duties through multiple Raiders eras and stayed on the job. The “Much-maligned” label followed him at times, but he still delivered years of volume.

Bahr played for the Raiders from 1980-88. In that span, he was part of two Super Bowl championship teams.

Why Bahr gets No. 10

Bahr is the best No. 10 because his Raiders totals lead this jersey group. He made 162 field goals and converted 331 of 350 extra points in nine seasons.

Meanwhile, “Much-maligned” still came with longevity and rings. That staying power, plus two titles, makes him the choice.

Draft and background

Bahr was born Feb. 3, 1953, in State College, Pa. He attended Neshaminy High School in Pennsylvania, then played at Penn State.

He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round (No. 51 overall) of the 1976 NFL Draft.

Other notable No. 10s

  • Seth Roberts, 2015-2018

  • Mike Mercer, 1963-1966

Career check

Bahr is remembered with mixed reviews, but the Raiders trusted him for nine seasons. For No. 10, “Much-maligned” owns the spot on volume and championships.

Next up tomorrow: No. 9.
