Jon Jones Accuser in Alleged Road Rage Incident Speaks Out

Another controversy is surrounding Jon Jones and once again, it has nothing to do with what happens inside the octagon. A video that surfaced Saturday evening on social media appears to show Jones confronting a driver following an alleged road rage incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In the footage, the driver accuses the man believed to be Jones of nearly causing multiple collisions. “What, bro? You’re almost hitting me,” the driver says in the video. The man alleged to be Jones responds calmly at first, telling the driver to “relax” and “calm down,” before the situation escalates verbally. The clip ends with Jones raising his middle finger toward the camera and walking away.

Driver’s Claims

The individual who posted the video alleged that the encounter began after several near misses on the road.

According to the post:

  • Jones allegedly came close to hitting the driver multiple times
  • The driver attempted to get his attention by revving his engine
  • The situation escalated into a confrontation in a parking lot

The poster also suggested Jones may have been armed, though that claim has not been verified.

Jones Responds

Jones later addressed the incident on social media, offering a conflicting version of events. “This kid proceeded to chase my car down for two blocks, revving his engine and trying to intimidate me,” Jones said. “I’m proud of myself for standing up for myself.” The differing accounts leave uncertainty around what exactly took place.

While details remain unclear, the situation adds to a long list of off-the-cage issues tied to Jones’ career.

Past incidents include:

  • A 2015 hit-and-run crash that resulted in him being stripped of his UFC title
  • A DUI arrest in 2012
  • A DWI charge in 2020
  • A reported traffic-related issue in 2025

Despite being widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, Jones’ legacy has often been complicated by incidents outside competition.
