Meanwhile, Misiorowski (3-1, 3.20 ERA) is making his fifth career start, showing a 0.92 WHIP, 4.6 walks per nine innings, and 9.6 strikeouts per nine innings.
He took the loss in his last game against the Mets after allowing five earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. This will be his first matchup against the Dodgers, but he has excelled at home, boasting a 2-0 record with a 0.00 ERA in two starts.
It’s always a challenge to bet against the defending champions, who remain a top team in baseball.
However, the Dodgers are heading into Tuesday’s game on a four-game losing streak. Facing the hard-throwing Misiorowski doesn’t seem to favor Los Angeles in their effort to turn things around tonight.
