Unified Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) will be defending his championship against Daniel Dubois in a rematch of their bout in which Dubios dropped him which looked like a knockout but was ruled a low blow despite the punch being right on the belt. Usyk would go on to stop Dubois in the 9th round. The rematch will take place July 19th at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) was advocating for a rematch against Usyk and now his wish has become true. Joseph Parker wanted a shot against Dubois who pulled out of their anticipated match in February due to an illness. As great of a fight as that would have been, the best fight to be made in the heavyweight division is Usyk vs Dubois. Usyk is coming off of back to back victories over Tyson Fury and is clearly on top of the heavyweight world right now. No other information has been reported for this potential fight card as of yet.
