According to Empire Sports Media, UFC 315 is scheduled to take place on May 10 in Montreal.
The promotion announced that there will be a flyweight bout between a former champion and a rising contender.
Former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade (26-13) will match up with rising newcomer Jasmine Jasudavicius (13-3).
In this upcoming fight, the former champion is looking to bounce back. In September 2024, Andrade took on Natalia Silva and lost by decision. Prior to that matchup, Andrade won two fights over Marina Rodriguez and Mackenzie Dern.
Similar to Andrade, Jasudavicius has some experience with Natalie Silva. In 2022, Silva also defeated Jasudavicius.
After back-to-back wins following that loss to Silva, Jasudavicius suffered her only defeat in the Octagon to Tracy Cortez.
Since the defeat to Cortez in 2023, Jasudavicius has won four fights in a row. Recently, she faced off against former bantamweight challenger Mayra Bueno Silva, who had made her flyweight debut.
Jasudavicius was dominant in her technique to pick up the decision win. A win at UFC 315 over Andrade will catapult Jasudavicius in the top 5 rankings.
UFC 315 is guaranteed to have fireworks.
