Despite keeping Maxx Crosby and Adam Butler, another defensive stalwart for the Las Vegas Raiders is taking his talents somewhere else.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane is signing with the New England Patriots.

Spillane started every game at linebacker for the Raiders over the past two seasons, recording 306 tackles (173 solo), 17 tackles for loss, five and a half sacks and five interceptions in that span.

A difficult loss for the Raiders to start the legal tampering period.

This story is breaking. Updates will be released as more information becomes available.
