The Lady Rebels (10-4, 2-0) are coming in hot in conference play as they face the Boise State Broncos (11-4, 1-1) on the road.
Against San Jose State, the Lady Rebels also had their best three-point game shooting 50% from the three-point line. In the win, the Lady Rebels were led by Kiara Jackson, who went 8-for-12 from the floor and almost perfect (3-for-4) from the three-point line. Jackson was also perfect from the free-throw line, going 1-of-1.
The Broncos come in led by Natalie Pasco, who averages 11.2 points, 6 steals, and 4 blocks per game. Against the Falcons, the Broncos shot 47.7% from the field. Tatum Thompson led the Broncos against the Falcons, scoring a team-high 14 points and going 6-for-6 from the field. Dani Bayers also added 13 points, shotting a trio of three-pointers to close out the game over the Falcons.
The Lady Rebels will have to watch out for Boise State’s tough defense. The Broncos managed to keep the Air Force Falcons to 23.1% from the floor in the last quarter. A key to getting another conference win would be for the Lady Rebels to stay planted in the paint and stay consistent in grabbing rebounds. They will have a true battle in the paint against Abby Muse who grabbed down 12 rebounds in the win against the Falcons.
The Lady Rebels will tip-off against the Broncos on Saturday, January 4th at 6 p.m. MT.
