The Vegas Golden Knights return home from their road trip to host the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena.
Los Angeles Kings
Los Angeles is finishing a seven-game road trip to kick off its season with a 3-1-2 record. The Kings have shown strong performance in their last two games, scoring eight goals and allowing just two.
The Kings can look forward to facing goaltender Adin Hill on Tuesday night. Hill has started four games and allowed four goals in three of them. He currently has a 3.81 goals-against average and a save percentage of .851.

He’s had a tough start, and the Kings should capitalize on that. Getting shots on goal will be crucial, and the Kings are good at it, averaging over 30 shots per game. If they keep the pressure on Hill and the Golden Knights, the Kings will likely come out on top.
David Rittich is set to be the starting goaltender for the Kings in this game. Rittich has secured two of the Kings wins this season, both in the last two games.
Although his first start of the season was rough, he’s put that behind him and is now performing like one of the best goalies in the NHL. If he can deliver another strong performance in the net, the Kings will have an excellent chance of winning this game.
Vegas Golden Knights
The Vegas Golden Knights are fourth in the Pacific division with a 3-2-1 record. Despite starting the season with three consecutive wins, they have lost their last three games, including a 4-3 overtime loss to the Florida Panthers.
The Knights are a strong scoring team, ranking fifth in the NHL in goals per game and fourth in shot percentage, despite taking fewer than 27 shots per game.

Center Jack Eichel’s presence has been instrumental in their offensive success, leading the team with 10 points and ranking fourth in the NHL with eight assists.
If Eichel continues to perform well, the Golden Knights will likely benefit and secure a win on Tuesday night. On the other hand, the Kings excel at winning face-offs in the offensive zone, ranking sixth in the NHL in face-off win percentage.
However, they struggle in defensive zone face-offs, ranking eighth-lowest in the league. This should give the Knights an advantage in gaining possession in the offensive zone and capitalizing on scoring opportunities.
Kings-Knights Best Bet
The Knights won the season series against the Kings last year, 2-1. While the Knights have struggled on the road lately, they play much better at home.
Vegas also got an extra day of rest as the Kings had to play the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night. The total in this one is set at 5.5 goals. This number feels sharp, so I’m going to choose a side instead.
The Knights at home over the road-weary Kings is the play. Vegas is a slight favorite at -125 on the moneyline, which is the best bet on this one.
