Aces Sky
Chicago Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso would get into foul trouble at 8:06 in the first quarter and had to sit the rest of the quarter. When she came out, the Aces were up three, but they quickly increased their lead to 17-6.
Chicago fought back, going on a 6-0 run to close the first quarter cutting the deficit to 4, 17-13. The Aces would counter with their own 6-0 run to begin the second quarter, forcing an early Sky timeout.
It was all Aces in the second quarter, as they led by as much as 19 points and outscored the Sky 30-18. Chelsea Gray led all scorers with 11 points on 4-5 shooting, including 1-2 from three.

The Aces would regain their 19 point lead with 6:21 remaining in the third quarter 60-41. Chicago would have there best offensive quarter shooting 7-13 (53.8 %) but they would not be able to come within single digits. After three quarters of play the Aces led 68-51 with four players in double figures.

Tiffany Hayes started in place of Kelsey Plum, who was out due to injury, and had a great game. Hayes ended with 20 points, going 8-12 from the field and 3-5 from three.
Jackie Young had another solid effort, ending with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals.
Chelsea Gray had one of her better shooting performances since returning from injury, scoring 13 points on 5-8 shooting from the field and adding 10 assists and 3 steals.
Michaela Onyenwere led the Sky with 15 points, going 6-10 from the field and 3-3 from three.
Kamilla Cardoso ended with 14 points, while Angel Reese had 12 points and 16 rebounds.
On Friday, the Las Vegas Aces will travel to Connecticut to take on the Sun. Tip off is set for 4.30 p.m. and it will be televised on ION.
