The Aces improved to 13-6 with a 104-85 victory against the Dallas Wings, after a difficult overtime loss to the Sparks on Friday. With the loss, the Wings record falls to 5-17 on the season.

Aces Wings
Both teams went back and forth in a high-scoring first quarter, with the Aces down 27-25 after one quarter. Kelsey Plum led the Aces with eight points, while Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with nine.
The second quarter featured a battle of the bigs, with Teaira McCowan leading the Wings with 7 points on 3-for-4 shooting. A’ja Wilson got hot for the Aces, shooting 4-5 from the floor and scored 8 of her 13 points in the quarter.
The Aces went on an 8-0 run to take a 48-40 lead late in the second quarter, but the Wings responded with their own run, tying the game at 48. Las Vegas led 51-48 at halftime, with A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum scoring 13 points apiece.
The Aces began the second half on a 9-0 run, forcing a Wings timeout with the Aces ahead 60-48. They kept their foot on the gas, outscoring the Wings 16-5 in the opening four minutes of the third. The Aces outscored the Dallas Wings 26-17 in the third quarter and led 77-65 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Wings lowered the lead to eight early in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to narrow the gap, going down by as much as 21 points. In the fourth quarter, A’ja Wilson made more history by becoming the Aces all-time leading scorer.

A’ja Wilson led the Aces in scoring with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks, becoming the franchise’s all-time scorer.
Three other Aces scored in double figures, including Kelsey Plum, who finished with 23 points.
Jackie Young finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists while also recording three steals, showing why she is one of the league’s best two-way players. Chelsea Gray finished out the Aces double-figure scoring with 12 points on 5-9 shooting from the field.
Odyssey Sims leads the Wings in scoring with 25 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Natasha Howard ended with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, Arike Ogunbowale struggled, shooting 4-13 from the floor for 13 points.
The Las Vegas Aces will travel to Seattle to take on the Storm on July 10th. The game will tip off 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WNBA League Pass.
