A’ja Wilson burst into tears as she spoke about her teammates and how much she adores them and will take any hit from them.
She is aware that the media has labelled her as the best player in the world, which looks wonderful, but Wilson wants to be the best person and teammate possible so that she can get the most out of her team. Wilson also joked with the reporters, “I don’t wanna be great for you guys, no offense, but I wanna be great for my team and this franchise.” So far this season Wilson has been outstanding averaging a career high 28.6 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.
