Aces return home to take on Lynx

On Tuesday, The Las Vegas Aces will be back home taking on the Minnesota Lynx in a Commissioner Cup matchup. The game will be televised on NBA TV starting at 7pm.

The Aces are currently on a two-game losing streak and hope to bounce back in the win column with a second game against the Minnesota Lynx. Minnesota enters the game having won their previous game against the Seattle Storm. The Lynx are currently 8-3 and 3-1 in Commissioner Cup play, whereas the Aces are 5-4 and currently 1-2.

Lynx Players to watch 

Kayla Mcbride has become one of the best three-point shooters this season, shooting 51% and averaging 18 points per game. Mcbride recently led the Lynx to a big win over the Seattle Storm, dropping 32 points and hitting seven three-pointers.

Naphessa Collier, who is in the conversation for WNBA MVP, scored 18 points and had 13 rebounds in the last matchup against the Aces. Collier is averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds per game this season.

Guard, Courtney Williams had an all around performance in the last matchup with the Aces scoring 12 points, dishing out 8 assist and grabbing 6 rebounds.

Aces players to watch 

A’ja Wilson has been dominant all season long, and in her most recent game against the Lynx, she had 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks. A’ja looks to extend her record 14-game streak of 20-plus point performances.

The Aces will also get back Jackie Young who missed last game due to an illness but is a who piece of this team who is still missing their point gawd Chelsea Gray. In the previous matchup with the Lynx, Young scored 19 points and dished out 10 assists while shooting 7-13 (53%) from the field and making three three-pointers.

The Lynx enter this game having won four of their last five, while the Aces have lost three of their past five. The Aces hope to reverse this trend and return to their winning ways.
