Diaz (26-10) will face Vincente Luque (22-10-1) in a five-round welterweight bout. Luque is coming into the fight on a 3 fight skid. This fight should be a successful return bout. Diaz looks like he’s in better shape than he was for his last night so I expect to see more of sharper version that we’re use to seeing.
Here are the other bouts that are schedule for the UFC Fight Night Card.
- Bantamweight matchup Cory Sandhagen (17-4) vs.Umar Nurmagomedov (17-0), cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event.
- Former bantamweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Marlon “Chito” Vera,
- Flyweight bout between Mackenzie Dern vs. Loopy Godinez
- Welterweight matchup between former interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson vs. Michael Chiesa
