The Raiders are looking to get better on offense as they finished the season ranked in the bottom of the league. Their solution for help could come in the form of a hometown guy in Rome Odunze. The Bishop Gorman product was a four star prospect who won multiple state championships while starring for the Gaels.

Odunze signed with the Washington Huskies and ended up developing an impact player in their offense. His coming out party was his Sopohmore season where he reached All-American status.  He had 75 receptions and 1,145 yards receiving yards with 8 total touchdowns. Not be outdone, Odunze Junior campaign was one of the best ever in the Pac-12 conference. His performance set a Washington record with on 1,640 receiving yards, most in the nation in 2023, and third-most in Pac-12 history with 92 receptions and 14 total touchdowns.

With the Raiders on the clock with the 13th pick, Odunze could be there for the taking. Ranking at the bottom of the league for total offense, the Raiders have to start surrounding themselves with more talent. Who would be better than the hometown hero if he’s still available? I would say Davante Adams is my player comparison,” Odunze said. “I do a lot of his releases and model his technique. I’m still trying to figure out how he is so twitchy, but I am getting there. With his size and his route running and his catchability, I like to compare myself to him.”
