Crystal Martinez who’s a testing agent for Drug Free Sport International, filed a report with the Albuquerque Police. Martinez alleged to the police that heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones, assaulted and threatened her life during a sample collection. She also said that Jones temporarily took her phone and threatened to kill her during a sample collection at his residence at 4 p.m.

Jones commented on the allegations via social media and posted a video. In the video, it appears to show two testing agents leaving his home on March 30 without incident.

“I want to address reports about me allegedly threatening a drug tester’s life and taking a phone,” Jones wrote on Instagram. “I want to clarify that there is a video showing both drug testers leaving my home after the testing session, where we exchanged a high five and a hug. Although I was frustrated with the unprofessionalism and used profanity out of frustration it ended friendly and amicably, nothing threatening at all.”

According to the report, Martinez claimed Jones was initially cooperative. But he became agitated when he was unable to immediately provide a urine sample. Martinez goes on to allege that Jones appeared intoxicated and told the agents, ‘Why you f—ing people come so early, do you know what happens to people who come to my house they end up dead.” She also alleges Jones threatened to sue them.

Jones is the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. He has had numerous of legal issues outside of the octagon. We’ll see how saga plays out as Bones is looking to get back into the octagon to defend his belt.
