Team USA Basketball invited four Las Vegas Aces players to compete for a roster spot at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Training camp is here — and A’ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and Kelsey Plum are here for it.

The four Aces players will be in Cleveland, OH, for the next three days (April 3-5) as Team USA continues its preparations for the Paris Games in July/August.

All four of them won an Olympic medal in 2020, but this year is different.

Wilson and Gray were members of the 5×5 team that went 6-0 in 2020. They defeated Japan 90-75 in the gold medal game, marking Team USA’s seventh straight Olympic gold medal.

Young and Plum were members of the first-ever 3×3 team that went 6-1 in 2020. They beat Russia 18-15 in the gold medal game — Plum’s 55 points in the tournament were tied for the most.

This year, the Las Vegas Aces‘ core will get the opportunity to win a gold medal together at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The same way they’ve won back-to-back WNBA titles together — but this time on a global stage.

Team USA Reveals Training Camp Roster for Paris Olympics

The training camp roster consists of 14 athletes total (13 WNBA players and one NCAA player), but only 12 of them will make the Olympic roster.

Young, Plum, Gray, and Wilson are joined by five other former Olympians: Diana Taurasi, Ariel Atkins, Brittney Griner, Jewell Loyd, and Breanna Stewart.

Shakira Austin and Sabrina Ionescu, both of whom were on the gold-medal-winning 2022 USA Women’s World Cup Team, are also on the roster.

Aaliyah Boston and Rhyne Howard round out the WNBA talent, while Caitlin Clark is the lone college player.

Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve will lead Team USA, while Kara Lawson (Duke University), Joni Taylor (Texas A&M University), and Mike Thibault (Washington Mystics) will serve as assistant coaches.

It’s unclear when they’ll announce the official roster, but we’re likely one or two months away from that.

The Paris Games will take place between July 26 and Aug. 11.
